Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of savvysouq.com and the purchase of products from SavvySouq (“SavvySouq”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), based in Beverly Hills, Sheikh Zayed City, Giza, Arab Republic of Egypt. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, including the Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its executive regulations, the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, and applicable e-commerce regulations. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under Egyptian law.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Products, descriptions, and pricing

• We describe each product as accurately as possible, including its real, manufacturer-stated specifications. Minor variations in images or packaging may occur.
• All prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery fees, where they apply, are shown at checkout.
• We may correct any obvious pricing or description errors. If a price error affects your order, we will contact you before processing and you may confirm or cancel.
• Products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will inform you and offer a replacement or a full refund.

3. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted only when we confirm it (for example, by message or by dispatching the goods). We may decline or cancel an order — for example, due to stock, a pricing error, suspected fraud, or delivery limits — and will refund any amount already paid.

4. Payment

We currently accept:

• Cash on Delivery (COD)
• InstaPay transfer (with payment receipt upload)
• Mobile Wallet transfer (with payment receipt upload)

For manual transfer methods, your order is confirmed once we verify your uploaded payment receipt. Please keep your transfer reference until your order is delivered.

5. Delivery

• We deliver across Egypt through our courier partners. Estimated delivery times by zone: same-day to 6th of October and Sheikh Zayed; 1–2 working days to Greater Cairo; 3–5 working days to the Delta and Canal; 5–7 working days to Upper Egypt and the coast.
• Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by location, stock, weather, holidays, or events outside our control.
• Delivery fees are shown at checkout. Delivery is free for orders of EGP 2,000 or more within Greater Cairo.
• Please inspect your order on arrival. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

6. Returns, exchanges, and refunds

In line with your rights under the Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018:

• 14-day returns: you may return an eligible product within 14 days of receiving it, no questions asked.
• The item must be unused, in its original condition, with all tags and original packaging and accessories.
• To start a return or exchange, contact us on WhatsApp with your order number.
• Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: we will repair, replace, or refund the item at no cost to you, including any return shipping, as required by law.
• Refunds are issued to your original payment method (or by an agreed method for cash orders) after we receive and check the returned item, normally within a reasonable period.
• For hygiene or safety reasons, certain items may be non-returnable unless faulty; this will be made clear before purchase.

7. Warranty

Products are covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty; the warranty period varies by product and is stated on the product page. Warranty claims can be started by contacting us on WhatsApp. This is in addition to your statutory rights under Egyptian consumer law.

8. Your consumer rights

You are entitled to clear product information, sound and safe products, fair pricing, a valid invoice/receipt, and the remedies provided by the Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. Nothing in these Terms reduces those rights.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, submitting false information, infringing intellectual property, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

10. Intellectual property

The SavvySouq name, logo, site design, text, and graphics are owned by or licensed to SavvySouq and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission. Product brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law, SavvySouq is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for defective or unsafe products under the Consumer Protection Law.

12. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, network or courier failures, or government measures.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute will be subject to the competent Egyptian courts. You may also raise consumer complaints with the Consumer Protection Agency (CPA), and data-protection complaints with the Personal Data Protection Center. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the issue quickly.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
